Reading a book is recognized as one of the most important means for language and literacy learning amongst growing kids. However, with the advent of technology learning has been influenced by digital methods that come in the form of texts, graphics, audios as well as videos. "I started with a small software to make learning fun for my son. The talking books, interactive puzzles really did magic and he fell in love with learning. I wondered if this would work for other children too. So, I called a free session for my son's friends. To my delight they enjoyed it too. That's when I realized that this solution had potential of being big. I gradually built something for preschools and eventually for main stream schools which is Brainy Knights today," speaks Bhawna Shah, CEO, Brainy Knights.

Established by a team of IIT and IIM alumni, Brainy Knights offers complete end-to-end solutions for preschool education. Using its unique range of solutions and services the company assists in setting up preschools for those who haven't established a school yet or if someone already owns a school, Brainy Knights help them upgrade the school and its services by providing professional curriculum as well as complete support for its regular operations. While there were no existing tailored pre-schools solutions during the inception, the major challenge for the founding team was to hold on to its objectives and march ahead while other players had already started moving out of preschool domain.

"There is a lack of organized back-end support solution providers for preschools. Brainy Knights was the only organized service provider which supported right from conceptualization to operations support. Our ERP solution provides handy solutions for teachers and relieves them from tons of other monotonous chores thereby giving them more in-person time with children. The management did not have to juggle with too many software. Our solutions were all-in-one solution for all requirements of a preschool. It served as a common solution for school management, messaging, planning and E-Learning," adds Bhawna. While Brainy Knight's initial clients were preschools and their customers, the parents of early learners however demanded to be a part of their child's everyday learning. Schools wanted to keep them involved but with least effort from management side. Brainy Knights bridged this gap by introducing a combo solution that worked for the benefit of both management as well as the parents and that did the trick. The ERP solution brought the management, staff and parents on one common platform and brought in transparency in the whole system.


Today, Brainy Knights has successfully provided support to over 100 schools so far and the number is still growing. Steering its way ahead, Brainy Knights wishes to be the largest education solution provider for preschools across national and international borders. "We have consciously created the pace which is not only agile but also lean so that we efficiently manage our business goals creatively. We plan to establish our presence pan India within 5 years and internationally in next 10 years" time frame. We also plan to incorporate health solutions for preschools in our ERP solution so that health records can be maintained from early age," concludes Bhawna. The market research team at ERP Insight magazine collated data from various sources and found Brainy Knights among top 10 most promising ERPs in the industry today.
