Auto dealerships have been slow to adopt digital systems, leading to inefficiencies caused by paperwork-heavy and outdated processes. To address this issue, Hyderabad-based IT solutions provider Readywire is introducing an advanced digital system aimed at improving dealership operations. The company claims its technology can boost efficiency by up to 37%.
Readywire’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software serves as a digital foundation, enabling dealerships to access data quickly, analyze insights, and make informed decisions. According to CEO and Founder Viren Choudary, most auto dealerships still rely on traditional operations without a proper digital structure. He stated that their goal is to create an integrated ERP system that connects all back-end processes into one seamless platform.
The company’s ERP software is designed to tackle challenges like manual data entry, reconciliation, and reporting. By automating these tasks, dealerships can save up to 26% of their time on data input and 62% on other routine processes. Viren Choudary explained that automation minimizes data reconciliation issues, ensuring accuracy and speed, while a well-structured ERP system brings clarity and organization to dealership operations.
After launching a beta version in mid-2024, Readywire has been working with auto dealerships in states like Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Delhi. The company actively gathers customer feedback to refine its products further and is now focusing on AI-powered solutions for even greater efficiency.
Readywire is set to introduce an AI Co-Pilot, an intelligent assistant designed to automate daily dealership operations. Viren Choudary revealed that they are working on integrating generative AI into their system and expect to launch it within a few months.
While the company initially focused on ERP for back-office operations, it now plans to expand its offerings by integrating with dealership CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems. This move aims to enhance both pre-sales and post-sales processes, making customer interactions smoother and more efficient.
Currently, Readywire serves dealerships of major brands like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia, and MG. The company aims to grow its customer base by offering an affordable and efficient alternative to global ERP providers. By strengthening dealership operations with digital tools, Readywire aims to become a key IT partner in the auto retail industry. As India moves towards stricter data protection laws under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA), the company sees an increasing demand for secure and reliable digital systems in the sector.
