The top management institute in Eastern India, EIILM – Kolkata, has started a new programme called MBA Cloud ERP with SAP. This is the first programme in this region, which is aimed at preparing students for the corporate world. It is part of the EIILM-Kolkata Centre for Leadership & Ethics (EKCLE), and is done in partnership with SAP and SEED Infotech.

The programme was officially launched on January 11, with important guests attending the event. Prof (Dr) Rama Prosad Banerjee, Chairman and Director of EIILM-Kolkata, Rajeev Singh from SAP India, and Dr Ganesh Natarajan, Executive Chairman of 5F World, were among the notable speakers. Many senior executives from companies like PwC-India, IBM-India, and Capgemini were also present.

The programme agreement was signed on October 28, 2024, with leaders from EIILM-Kolkata, SAP India, and SEED Infotech. The MBA Cloud ERP with SAP offers students a chance to learn through hands-on training and two SAP Global Certifications. Also, students can have specialization in arenas such as Sales, Finance or Success Factor, as well, get a six-month paid internship. This programme is developed to prepare students for careers in the current digital economy by offering real-world experience with SAP Solutions.

Rajeev Singh highlighted the importance of this programme in closing the skills gap and preparing students for future jobs. Dr Ganesh Natarajan called the collaboration a “trailblazing initiative” that will develop future business leaders with specialised training in SAP systems.

Raghu BS from SEED Infotech said the programme’s focus on hands-on training will help students gain the skills needed for leadership roles in the digital world. Furthermore, Prof (Dr) R P Banerjee explained that Cloud ERP systems will change how businesses operate by making processes more efficient and enabling real-time decision-making. He expressed excitement about the opportunities this programme will bring to students.

With this new programme, EIILM-Kolkata is leading the way in management education, offering students the tools to succeed in a rapidly changing digital world.
